About Me

I am a graduate student in the computer science and engineering department at UC San Diego. Prior to UCSD, I was an undergraduate at UC Berkeley with a major in electrical engineering and computer science (EECS). I am originally from Turlock, located in the heart of the central valley of California.

One of the most important things to me is my wife Kristen. We were married in July, 2006 and we were truly made for each other. She is a structural engineer working at Degenkolb engineering in downtown San Diego.

As for hobbies, I am an open source advocate and generally enjoy tinkering with computers. I enjoy sports such as football and tennis, but am equally content sitting down to a good movie. I also play guitar and piano recreationally. Moreover, I am a Christian trying to use the gifts God has given me.
